Healthcare Clinician
As from the beginning of July 2009 these two day healthcare clinician training programs will be organised and run by Cathy Hill, OT, Queensland and Jackie Wesson, AccOT, NSWs. Click Here To See An Online Power Point Preview Results from 2007 to 2009 Healthcare Clinician Training in AustraliaThe two day healthcare professional training, which was conducted on 7 and 8 May, 2009 at the St George Hospital, Sydney, Australia attracted many therapists from NSWs and one participant came from the South Island of New Zealand. Jacki Wesson, AccOT and Cathy Hill, OT were instrumental in making this a worthwhile experience for so many people. The training course which was scheduled to be held in Orange, NSW on the 12 and 13 March, 2009 was cancelled due to the economic down turn with training funding cancelled in the Bathurst Health Region. Many therapists had applied to attended the training from this Health Region. An excellent course was held at Logan Hospital in Queensland on 23 and 24 August 2008, as one participant said, "It made so much sense about the daily aspects of what we do as Occupational Therapists" Future Training Programs for healthcare clinicians and health care assistants can be adjusted to accommodate the following time allocations:
